The first time I heard about food science and nutrition as hotel trainee 25 years ago. I was immediately enthusiastic about the importance of food and how these products are cooked. Since then I expanded my knowledge steadily via courses, expert lectures, specialist literature etc.
Not only food is an elementary factor for a healthy body, a healthy lifestyle is important too. This includes sports, a positive attitude, a satisfactory workplace and good friends etc.
Also here it is important: ‘too’ is more bad than good (too less food, too much sport, too many changes at the same time).
